DA Toolset Backpack, Gold, Invincibility Cheats

Here is a tutorial on how to edit your .das file in a few ways. There may be console commands to do these same things, but I’ve only been working with the Toolset so far.

If you feel like this is cheating and it isn’t for you, then don’t use them. 😉

Photos are thumbnails. Click on them to make them much larger.

The .das file is the save file for your game. You can locate it here:

In the Toolset go to
– File
– Open File
– My Documents
– BioWare
– Dragon Age
– Characters
– Name of Character You’re Editing
– Saves
– Open whichever folder has the file in it you want to edit.
– Name.das (if the file save was called Lothering, then your file will be called Lothering.das)

Once your .das file is open, here are instructions for the three things I just mentioned.

Maximum Backpack Storage

This will make your backpack hold 125 items without having to buy more packs in the shops.

– Go to SAVEGAME_PARTYLIST
Photobucket

– Go to SAVEGAME_MAX_ITEMS
Photobucket

– Put in 125, then click another area to make it “stick.”
Photobucket

– Save.

When you open that particular save file again, you should have max storage.

Invincible Warden

(I learned how to do this for my music videos. Sometime I needed 10 seconds of footage and just wanted to run a character up to that area as fast as possible rather than actually playing.)

– Click on SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR
Photobucket

– Click on SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR
Photobucket

– Click on SAVEGAME_OBJECT_IMMORTAL
Photobucket

– Change the value to 1

– Click on any other area to get it to “stick.”
Photobucket

– Save.

Boost Money

– Go to SAVEGAME_PARTYLIST
Photobucket

– Go to SAVEGAME_MONEY
Photobucket

– You can have up to 9999 gold 99 silver and 99 copper.

The way to put them in is like this: ggggsscc

g is gold, s is silver, and c is copper

So 7010921 would be 701 gold, 9 silvers, 21 coppers
PhotobucketPhotobucket

– Save
